Our mission at New Hope New Beginning is to provide individuals struggling with substance use disorder (SUD) with a safe, structured, and affordable sober living environment. We are committed to offering a supportive home, free from mind and mood-altering substances, where residents can focus on healing, personal growth, and embracing a new way of life. Founded in August 2020 by Karl Singletary, New Hope New Beginning Transitional Recovery House is a sober living facility dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey. Our mission is to provide a structured, substance-free environment where residents can focus on healing, rebuilding their lives, and achieving long-term sobriety. Our vision is to create a safe, healthy, and supportive living environment that fosters long-term recovery.

At New Hope New Beginning, we offer a supportive community, resources for personal development, and a safe space to transition into independent living. We are committed to helping individuals cultivate resilience, accountability, and hope for a brighter future. Redemption House Foundation has helped save the lives of 486 individuals. Redemption House Foundation is mainly staffed by sober and drug-free volunteers, many who are living in our New Beginning sober houses. Often, residents cannot be placed directly into sober living situations and they end up living on the street or in shelters, creating enormous pressure on their fragile sobriety. Occasionally, someone placed into a sober house relapses and they must leave the sober house immediately – Redemption House is the place where they can go until they recommit to their sobriety.

We’re growing every day, and we want to house as many people as we can. Redemption House is a place for people in recovery to go when they need a place to restart their recovery. Located in safe quiet residential area, right on bus line to downtown New haven, 10 mins to train station. On site gym, cold Plunge, infared Sauna, convenient to IOP and therapy etc.

Afterwards I went back to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor. Many amazing things have happened to me since February 4, 2008; it was a day that changed my life forever. Today I am a father of two amazing boys, Ricky and Carson, whom I want to set a great example for. Our goal is to be a resource for the community, hospitals, treatment centers, recovery houses, and most importantly the addict/alcoholic who is struggling and needs a place to go until the services they need are available. Having a recovery community to be part of is crucial in early sobriety. When you move into one of our houses, you’re not just moving into a sober house, you’re moving into a recovery community.

Helping People Recover and Rebuild Their Lives

Having a stable job, having stable financial situation and helping us get back on track and building for future really helps. The job coach of our partner agency comes to coach any guests that are looking for jobs. We also work with local temp agencies, contractors and other employers.

Hope House House for Women and Men was started in 2022, by Cementhia Mines. Cementhia Mines is a recovering Alcoholic, who will be celebrating 10 years clean in September 2024. Cementhia Mines started Hope House House to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who are overcoming addiction or Review Hope House mental health challenges. It aims to offer a structured setting where residents can focus on their recovery journey, surrounded by peers and staff who understand their struggles and can offer guidance and encouragement. The ultimate goal is to help residents reintegrate into society with the necessary tools and support to maintain their sobriety and mental wellness long-term.

Meet Rick DelValle, the founder of Hope House

We strive to empower individuals with the tools, resources, and community connections they need to rebuild their lives and sustain their journey to sobriety. Our unique transitional recovery housing model includes intestine outpatient treatment, adult peering and a 12-step recovery program. We provide the tools and supportive environment to help resident sustain recovery and to live an independent productive life. Current residents are welcoming to newcomers, committed to sobriety, and supportive of on another. The house culture holds resident accountable for unhealthy behaviors, and requires a high degree of adherence to house rules, and maintaining a healthy living environment. In addition to an investment in other resident’s recovery, each resident is expected to be a good neighbor and engaged citizen through volunteerism in the community.

After opening the Richard House and seeing how effective it was in helping to change lives, we felt an overwhelming desire and passion to help more people by opening up Carson’s House. February 4, 2008, I made a call to a drug dealer; I was hopeless and wanted to die. Our Vision is to provide a personal transformation from engaging in the core values of life. We partner with local pharmacy to provide a better meds management for our guest. They will deliver and sort it on a bubble pack for better medicine management weekly and help our guests track their medication. Engaging in service work brings a sense of purpose, personal growth, and builds relationships.

We offer comfortable, safe, residential living for those in recovery rebuilding their lives.

Our program of recovery also values peer support, which has brought great success in changing many lives. Richard’s House was the first house we opened when starting “A New Beginning.” Since its opening in November of 2014, we have successfully helped many clients to rebuild their lives. We are very proud to announce that we opened our fifth house in remembrance of the late Dick Ranaudo, a man who helped many people in their journey through recovery. Recovery journey is never easy, we are here to help in any possible way.
